In the last 11 months of blogging on Garnish & Glaze I have posted 144 recipes. I have had so much fun developing recipes, cooking, and most of all enjoying the delicious food and sharing it with others. I’m so grateful that so many have found joy in these recipes. Just wanted to share the 14 most popular (most viewed) recipes of 2014. So here they are from number 14 to 1.
This is a light, refreshing, low calorie, and low fat meal that takes less than 30 minutes to put together. It’s one of our favorite fish dishes since it’s so easy and made with fresh ingredients.
13.) PORK PAD THAI
I’m a big fan of Thai food so I’m happy to see this recipe was popular too! This dish is sweet and savory and is a great one-dish meal since it has a grain, protein, and veggies all thrown together. Oh and it takes less than 30 minutes to make too!
ADDICTING!!!! I would have no problem eating Mexican food everyday especially if it were these taquitos. They are quite easy to throw together and you can even make the chicken mixture the day before and just roll it up in the tortillas right before baking. We like these with Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing and with a side of Spanish Rice and Fat-Free Refried Beans.
This was one of my absolute favorite meals growing up. Just serve it with a side of white rice and your kids will devour this!
The most tender pork chops you’ll ever eat! Plus the gravy is made all on its own in the crock-pot while the pork cooks. So delicious with a side of mashed potatoes.
My family absolutely loves the Louisiana Chicken Pasta served at The Cheesecake Factory but we don’t have the luxury of eating out much so I created this copy-cat recipe and it is spot-on! I love the Cajun kick in the pasta sauce and the thin crispy chicken. Feed your whole family with this recipe for less than what it would cost for just one person at the restaurant!
8.) BETTER THAN ANYTHING CUPCAKES
This cupcake is loaded with all the good stuff: chocolate, caramel, sweetened condensed milk, heath, and frosting. So rich and so worth it!
This was the first food I photographed when I first got my DSLR. I had no idea what I was doing but these gorgeous cupcakes still found a way to shine. This frosting is amazing and can really be made with any kind of berry.
I never really liked lemon in baked goods until I made these… but how can you go wrong with blueberries and frosting?!
5.) GRILLED LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN
I sure miss having it warm enough outside to grill. This chicken is so flavorful, moist, and refreshing. Plus, it’s easy and great with so many side options. We really enjoy it with this orzo rice.
4.) BABY BACK RIBS
These are amazing! They are caramelized in the most delicious sweet barbecue sauce and cooked so tender that they practically melt in your mouth. A definite crowd-pleaser!
3.) NO KNEAD, NO RISE PIZZA DOUGH
Pizza is a cinch to make with this pizza crust recipe. You can have your own custom pizza from start to finish in just 30 minutes! So fun especially for kids to help make and eat.
2.) PUMPKIN BREAD WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
This is the most moist pumpkin bread ever! So delicious especially with that thick layer of cream cheese frosting. Perfect for a fall treat or really any time of the year.
1.) CARAMEL PECAN CARROT CUPCAKES
I didn’t expect this to be the most popular recipe but it has blown up on Pinterest and for good reason. Everyone who I have shared these cupcakes with have said it is the best cupcake they have ever had. The cake is so moist and the frosting is silky smooth. You can’t go wrong bringing these to a party!
Thanks for following Garnish & Glaze! I’m so excited to share many more recipes with you in 2015!
