Chocolate Frosted Christmas Cookies are the perfect chocolately treat to share with friends and family this year!
Are you making Christmas goodies today? I am! I’ve got to get my holiday baking done so sugar cookies and caramels are on my “to do” list today. I’ve put them at the top since they are high priorty (how could they not be?!). We’ll see if the 15 other things get done. Probably not. I always think I can get way more done than I ever do. I love sugar cookies but ya know what’s missing? Chocolate! Enter these chocolate chocolate sugar cookies– Christmas style!
The texture of the cookies is a little different than your typical sugar cookie because these don’t have any egges. It’s crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and they atually become softer after you store them in an aire tight container. The chocolate frosting is buttery and smooth and is covered in lovely festive sprinkles.
Speaking of sprinkles, they have become a new food group for Carly. She LOVES them! While I shook the sprinkles on she would try to catch any strays to eat and then when I was all done I poured all the sprinkles on the tray into a little cup and let her eat them… with a spoon! She was one happy girl! But now I have to hide all the sprinkles in the house.
