Baked Chocolate Frosted Pumpkin Donuts are a delicious and fun way to start your mornings this fall!
Life is quite a ride. Three weeks ago there was an unexpected death in my family. My brother-in-law was killed in a car accident on his way to work, leaving my sister and two little children behind.
I mourn the loss of my brother-in-law who was a loving husband and father and just all around good guy. My heart breaks and breaks for my sister and their kids. Her world has been turned upside down. I can’t even begin to fully understand all of the sorrow and pain that she faces now and will continue to have. I am so grateful though for the many many friends, family, acquaintances, and even strangers that have given their time, thoughts, prays, love, meals, money… to help my sister. God is truly looking out for her and working miracles through them.
It doesn’t make sense why he had to leave this Earth at such a young age and why my sister has to experience this tragic loss but I know (and my sister does too) that our Heavenly Father is there and has a plan for her. I’m so grateful that they were married not just “till death do us part” but for all eternity. The journey of life will be difficult without him but it brings a little hope and comfort to know that this little family will be together again.
Well on a different topic, it’s October which mean you need everything PUMPKIN so here are some baked pumpkin donuts covered in chocolate:

I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother Malinda. It’s definitely hard to accept the reality that someone who was young and healthy is all of a sudden gone. It makes you realize how fragile and precious life really is.
