I’m super excited that we get to visit family for Thanksgiving. The past two Thanksgivings we’ve spent with our friends here in medical school but it will be fun to get to celebrate with family again. With Nick starting residency next year, this will probably be the last holiday we get to spend with family for the next few years.

Because we’re traveling for Thanksgiving, we’ll be spending Christmas in Omaha. We’ve spent every Christmas with at least one of our families but I’m actually pretty excited to celebrate this year on our own and start some new traditions. Annnnd in the 6 years we’ve been married we finally got a christmas tree that’s over 2 feet tall! Yay! I’m just crossing my fingers Natalie doesn’t knock it over. Oh ,I’m just too excited!
